These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AutoCaption website, web app, mobile app, caption generation tools, subscriptions, and related services (“Service”) operated by AutoCaption (“AutoCaption,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By creating an account, starting a caption workflow, or using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts and subscriptions

Some features require an account or an active subscription. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Paid plans, export access, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown before purchase in the relevant web, app store, or payment-provider flow.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the Service, including the AutoCaption name, logo, copy, design, and software, is owned by AutoCaption or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any law; (b) infringe anyone's rights; (c) interfere with the operation or security of the Service; or (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.

5. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. AutoCaption does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoCaption will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
